We dont use a fixed rule.. "thats the point"................ every shop has diff mark ups... each shop has diff overheads, differant clients, some demanding that require a little extra to cover your time,,,, each shop buys from diff sources,,, and diff quality ......... some flower varieties take longer to condition than others and should be priced accordingly........... What im trying to say is "each to their own"
joe public need to look around and see how many RICH florists there are out there, they may realise that its not us thats governing the prices then...

Hi Fabs I know how much McDonlads pay for the chips as my partner is a store manager and let me tell you the mark up is amazing.Drinks are the best a large coke costs about 9p and we pay a pound. Now thats what I call profit, shame we can't actually make some money and afford wages sometimes. When I first started my business I took some friends to the wholesalers so they could see what I paid for things they were amazed as they thought foliage was free and flowers cost pennies think sometimes it's good for people to realise how much things cost.
