Thanks to all of the honesty i have recieved on here, i am returning to college, ....WOOOOOOH

and i am quite excited, i want to enrol in september , however i am unsure as to which one would be best suited as there are so many out there, ????

Could anyone sugget which one would be the best suited, i almost completed my level 2 nvq but had to leave due to personal circumstances, so was thinking that i might go and re-do that.? or should i do a city and guilds or diploma:

MY HEAD HURTS LOL

however i am going to keep the business ticking over but only accepting work that i am 100% confident in creating (funds are tight and any money made through these will be used to pay for my course)

As i am already set up, advertising , paying rates, bought a workshop etc, ...it just would not be viable to close the business.

Hi I did city and guilds level 2 at lackham was full time but only over 2.5to 3 days so would leave you free to do work the rest of the week. Not sure where you live but be worth contacting colleges in your area to see what they offer. Good luck and well done for biting the bullet and going back to college hopefully it will give you more confidence.

Hi thank you for the reply, i am looking into city and guilds level 2 now, think the nearest to me is solihull so going to get in touch with them me thinks

have had a mooch and the closest c&g level 2 course is quite a distance from me, a local college offers level 2 national certificate in floristry, ....do you know if they have the same content???

They also offer the c&g creative floristry at 3 different levels which i am goingto discuss with them at mu interview as these only run for 1 day a week which io should easily manage!!!

I did 2 years at Solihull Lv 2 National BTEC Dip and Lv3 National Award ~ got Distinction Plus on both (sitting here with huge head and smile )

ooooooh well done chickedy, was looking at solihull college but was worried about the traveling distance and fitting in the school runs too?

Do you think my local college courses would be good enough?

i live in harborne and would have to fit in college between dropping and collecting the children from school, will pop the address in the sat nav and aee what it says, .....obviously will account for the glorious rush hour traffic too

Would like to go there now though as it has come reccomended and your work is beautiful

we used to start at 9.30 until 4 X 3 days a week mon ~ wed thursday friday were study days but I think they may have changed that cos I had a student for W/E and he had to go in on thursday for summat he mumbled at me

ooooh, will see if i can swwet talk someone into doing the school runs for me for the three days , ...will give them a ring tomorrow and see if it has changed!!!!
