Sorry I read your post wrong first time around, having a bad day, almost as bad as yesterdays HEHE
Believe me I have tried so hard, maybe I'll just move to Stockport then. I really believe I'm in the wrong area. Belinda Last edited by belinda; 21-09-2007 at 02:43 PM. Reason: Read post wrong, so reply was wrong |

I have a casual little job (as in, if they need me and I'm not busy, I go in and help) but my friend had been trying to get work to no avail, 1 shop offered her 16 hours per week, but couldn't tell her which hours until that week! so she couldn't take it.

So what actually is the problem are there not enough qualified florists, or do florists want more experience. At my college my Tues class has 17 of us, on a Weds there are 35, then there are 2 other full time classes of around 35-40. Is there enough jobs for all these florists I know a few just want to learn but mostly I imagine would want jobs. The prospects don't look good and I'm beginning to get a bit worried about the long term employment plan.
