At busy times we pay someone to wrap, make us coffee, brush floors, cut flowers, write out message cards etc etc - someone with a good standard of spelling & clear, neat handwritting is a godsend. She is as useful to us as someone else filling orders as it speeds us up so much. You would be more than capable of doing all of these things. It is a good place to start and will get your foot in the door. If you show a good attitude & are keen I'm sure it wouldn't be long before you are learning much more. I would think it is a good time to offer your services round florists as most florists would be looking for some extra help coming up to Christmas. Hi lavender - I am in Doncaster.
I am 'blooming' with confidence this week, passed 2 assessments with the same bunch of flowers, did a flat wrapped bouquet (pass) and then got a distinction for my basket! Used lovely aqua pink roses, dark burgundy chrysanths and dill (the dill looked fantastic). I skated out of college on Tuesday night - was on such a high. ![]() Julia |
