Hey Helen
![]() Okay call me a nerd but I think I can answer your question!!! In Paris, in 1840, a gentleman called Jules Lachaume opened a boutique on Chaussee d'Atin. It then moved to Rue Royale where it still is today. This is supposed to be the first and most famous Florist where arrangements were made on the premises and commissions were taken for floral arrangements in situ rather than just flowers sold from shopkeepers!!! Good grief I thought all that stuff I did at college would NEVER be needed again!!! ![]() Hope it helps Sue xx |
