Hi.everyone.
If you follow this train of thought we (shop owners) are stuffed.
The good ones will always aim to open there own shops and leave.
The c*ap ones will stay get every pay rise this VERY KIND government gives!!!!
As for any employer who will let someone in there shop and not pay they get what they deserve.
My philosophy on employing staff is the 4 WAY system
1..you work 2....I pay
3..I teach 3....you learn
that is good for both.

1 thing lulu you said that you want to be in the position we are in one day. Well i hope you have better luck with your help, because the way i see it you are gaining more from your boss then you give, she gives you her knowledge her costumer base and her time. not to mention her paitence when you started, as far as i know it takes months to train in help even for free and then when you got them to the place you feel that is right for your shop they leave you. Sorry to be so lulu and good luck
