Help with homework and wedding quotes
Hi Guys,
Finally getting around to doing some home work and got a bit stuck. When quoting for a wedding how do you allow for possible price change. Do you just mark up high enough to cover any? Do you put a disclaimer on quotes advising customer prices can change. Any help will be gladly appreciated. Not the sort of info you get in reference book. Cheers

I agree with snowy and funky. We often do our wedding estimates 12 months before the wedding so it would be foolish to give a fixed price to the bride. We both verbally and in writing on the estimate warn the bride that prices may change due to market fluxuations ( or words to that effect). During that following twelve months we advise the as to any changes that take place.
