Modern abd traditional naylar base?

Hi Guys,
Got loads of homework to catch up on during these hols and got a question I am stuck on. Any help much appreciated.
Question: What difference is there between a modern naylor base and a traditional one? Not sure if they mean the actual base or the design. Getting very confused. Would ask tutor but not back to college until 7th Jan.
Thanks again.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Naylor Base is the brand name used to describe the bses with the plastic backing. Oasis frames have the hard foam backing.

I would have thought the reference to traditional vs modern is in the design rather than the type of base used.

I agree with Fly...Naylor Base though have brought out new design boards for coffin tops as well...the only recent change I have noticed is they seem to be much more sturdy! Maybe am wrong on this, but personal opinion here.

Does the question not mean before oasis and the old wire frames and covering in moss?

There are new bio-degradable oasis frames on the market now. I wonder if you need to include them in your write-up?
