I was thinking of progressing onto a level 3 course after this year. The dont seem to do it in Leicester. Is it worth doing a level 3 course or will I be better off trying to find employment?

Get a job if you can and study at the same time, good practise for when you get your own shop!

What do you cover on level 3 Moo? From my experience as a fairly recent college leaver I'd say get out and get working, once you've got the basics you'll learn far more far quicker in a shop environment.

agree rosa but then some colleges are really good with level 3 cover alot of designer work they get to do something a bit different sometimes they can show me something new but either way you could work in a shop which personally i would do and go 1 day a week at college

I'm having this dilemma at the moment, think have decided to get more hands on experience, our college offers ANC level 3 for 2 days a week and logistically that would be a nightmare for me, plus the few hundred quid it costs for the course. If you're 19 or under it's free, don't know how old you are Meg but if you get it free I'd do it and try to get into a shop for 3-4 days a week. The ANC is on at our college while I'm there on a Tues and the stuff is very good, very professional.

well Im 21 soon. I think I might try for employment. The idea of college is great but I hate course work :P
