I saw Robert Milkowski at the SOF show and really liked his work. He's Polish - he represented Poland in the Europa Cup. You can find out a bit about him on the SOF website, Polish School of Floristry website and unfortunately not much else on the web.
I researched him for part of my C&G assignment - which was to research a contemporary florist; I chose him after seeing him at SOF. I couldn't find a website for him tho and he didn't reply to an email I sent. ![]()

Is this part of the C & G level 3 course? ANCF? If so, I have just completed this assignment. Do you have to identify european trends and influences? I studied Daniel Ost, Wally Klett, Per Benjamin (lovely) and Wendy Vanden Berghe. Didn't do Gregor Lersch, as I don't like his earthy style. Although I like natural looking, I think Daniel Ost strikes a happy-medium.
Eg. Wally Klett is intricate and incorporates a lot of wire in her bridal work. To show this was an influence, I said how Claire Cowling's designs are similar, and put in some pictures. Then to show it was a trend, found examples in wedding magazines. I also had to show my interpretations of their work, so did some mock-ups of buttonholes, bouquets etc and chucked those photos in too. Any help? The bit I found hardest was identifying the 'founder' of the fashion. How do we know who started it? The trade mags provide useful starting point. Look at the designers featured on the inside cover. Hope that helps
