I'm at Wiltshire College, the Lackham campus, in Lacock.

I am studying the ANCF (Level 3). It is one year and costing me a fortune. Not in materials but petrol. I live 50 miles away, so spend about £40 a week on fuel. It's only three days a week thank goodness.

College make materials last FOREVER! I have used the same calla lilies for 5 weeks now! They are mouldy and disgusting. The centres have disintegrated! My tutor said they can now be wired to last even longer!

we never have that problem??!! we get new stock every week from college, admittedly we have to make design out the materials and then dismantle it to make another, it then gets put in the chiller and the Lv2 group get to use some of it and then what ever is left at the end of the week is either left as the design was made or pulled apart and the lot gets sold off cheap at the college flower studio and then it helps the college fund our new stuff. it's pretty good really because we do get some different things to use and every week we get different stuff to work with and luckily we never have to make do with the same things every week - god wait till i tell my group how lucky we are to get fresh AYR when they moan - we never know what we are going to get until we get there monday morning and we all have to chip in with the conditioning.
i too am counting my blessings - big time

Made the dress today for our window display next week. Turned out better than expected so worried for nothing.
