de-thorn or not

 I think it's terrible when you can't browse. No need to lift it all out and mall it about, but you need to see what's on offer. Chances are you'll come away with more I would have thought.I think de-thorned is better...is it worth risking a law suit?! If you left them on, less chance of people malling them though...well they wouldn't do it more than once!

customers can peruse my flowers but usually I jump in and get them out the vases for them.....no use selling 10 flowers when they have broken another 6
 . I also price all my flowers, which a lot of florists dont do, but I find people buy more if they can see the price

Whenever you break the outside surface of the rose stem you are allowing easier access for bacteria AND MORE IMPORTANTLY...... the rose cannot drink up water as easily; both contribute to 'bent neck' problems in roses. (It's like trying to drink pop through a straw with holes in it.)
Rock on.........(and don't de-thorn).........................

Rainbow, rainbow, rainbow....you just have to grin and bare it. Next time as you wrap you entire hand around that rose stem and the biggest thorns you've ever seen are penetrating your epidermis and you want to scream out in pain just think happy thoughts.........hahahahahahahaahaaaaahahahahahhhh a
Oh yes, don't use a good towel to clean up the blood

I was told a story when I was a trainee that a window cleaner fell off his ladder in to rose bushes and died from tetanus
 .... I there for now insist on de-thorneing, don’t want any of my customers dying by the hands of my roses but by natural selection is fine as long as we get the funeral work to do...
