I'm now leaning towards hydrangeas! Will go to the wholesaler, see whats on offer and have a little practice before I go back in a couple of weeks.

Odd idea, but why not try something completely diff and do xanth blooms, more stylised to make it a bit comtemporary...was going to try it with lime green Anastasia, or even some of the larger bloom heads you can get, lots of colours to play with and I rekon not many would think about giving it a go?! Kind of 'retro-contemporary' ?!
