Hand held bouquets? Handties you mean? or Wedding bouquets?

My handties i tie with jute string, it doesnt cut into the flowers or anything.

Wedding bouquets I secure with pot tape, (been told by dutch florist its the best way) it holds it all in a nice tight place.

Cool Paper Wire

Simone

I think the item you are after is called bind wire, it comes on a reel and as you say is basically paper covered wire, should be able to get it from your local sundries seller. I like to use pot tape to secure my hand tieds, works well for me and keeps them secure at the binding point.

Good Luck

Used binding wire all the time. It's an Oasis product, comes on rolls about a hundred miles long (500m really) 2 colors. Good thing is you can use it like a twist tie so if you're half way through something you can just temp hold it in place. I didn't find it cut into stems as you don't really need to have it that tight . have to be a bit careful with things like gerbera, freesia etc.

Yes certainly sounds like paper covered wire. All sundries suppliers should have it.
