I have been trying to make the beautiful 3D dogs and bears that I have seen on Apple, Trend and other’s site, and have been very unsuccessful. What type of frame are you using, I try it will a wire frame that I made from a bear and it did not come our like the one I have been seeing from Florist Forums... Can you please help me...? Thank you.

I know you don't have access to some of the preformed frames that we do here but it's not impossible to sculpt these shapes yourself from scratch.

My best tip for a beginner would be to practice making small prototypes. Start off with something small and simple like a house for example. Once you've mastered the techniques of shaping and sculpting you will learn by your mistakes and can progress to more shapely things without wasting to much material. .

Hopefully, one day, I'd like to write a book about this stuff but I reckon everyone on here will be retired or in a better place by the time I get round to it

you should write a book on how to, or make a tape on how to make designers flower arrangement when you have time, I will buy it; I always told you how good you are.. keep up the good work.

yep, agree with treen, they are sculptured out of oasis. i am a sculptural beginner like you angel as the only animals ive done is the dog and bear in 3d, ive done other shapes like football, angel etc in 3d but the animals are more difficult. You basically just have to have a go and keep carving....have fun with it

I am going to give it a try, In the U.S. we do not have arrangement like this,
I got a lot of my designer oasis off of e-bay, but not the 3-D.. I have not found no one selling 3-D oasis on e-bay, I also took a template of a car and trace it then sculptured the car out of oasis, that came out pretty good, but I did that with silk flowers, I have not tried fresh flower in that arrangement.. I want to do the dog, or the dog in the basket, that look cool...
Again thank Apple and Trend.. I will give it a go, you know I will be the first in my neck of the neigborhood to do this, that is a lead for me in the u.s.
