Think I've worked it out now, the C&G level 2 I have completed actually is listed under design & craft, but it is called Floristry. The level 3 offered is the same, therefore quite a high element of art & design work.
I really want to do a pure floristry course and they don't have the other C&G level 3 where I have currently been studying. I think I will therefore have to look further afield. I had no idea when I started it was so complicated, I thought floristry was floristry

Just to add to the confusion my C&G Level 2 was the National Certificate in Floristry and my level 3 is the Advanced National Certificate in Floristry. My college is a land-based studies centre though, not a general college iykwim.

That's the level 3 I'd like to do.
There is an agricultural college near me, but they don't do it either. They do the BTEC, but it reads quite similar - more floristry. Don't know why I'm looking though can't afford it this year anyway

Don't give up!
The level 3 ANCF is a full-time course so costs very little. Mine ran over three days so wasn't really full-time. Keep looking, don't give up! There should be something around.

The BTEC full time is two days 1 year, or I can do it one day for 2 years, prob is I have to pay the fees + materials and at the moment can't stretch to that. But I won't give up, like you say something will turn up

Can't you get help with the fees, Z? Most colleges have funds you can apply to if you can show you're skint enough, maybe give them a ring or look on the website?
