could anyone please tell me if they have ever done a fire engine. Did you modify an artic lorry frame or use jumbo oasis
Have a fire fighters funeral pending and want to be prepped before I go visit the family tomorrow night

Depends if its 3-d or just a flat one? If its a 3-d i would make my own frame from blocks,personally dont use any of the ready made frames, you could use the truck frame and alter it. Made planty of firemans helmets. Good luck nice one to do.

did you cut the helmet design yourself or was it premade?

When we made a firemans helmet, the man's daughter brought in her dads leather helmet for us to copy, complete with the smokey aroma. We made a 3d moss and chicken-wire frame sat on a wire cushion frame to give it a sturdy base.
When the photo appeared in the local paper, both our floral helmet and his were on the top of his coffin.

I always cut my own and sculpt it out of blocks......We have the firemans helmet to copy it.Put it onto a cushion and some hose

Thanks for the replies everyone. After all the panic they decided to go all football club. Wanted a shield, shirt, scarf, double heart, large posy pad, large spray, DAD, large swinging heart( all roses and thistles,) pillow, 3d football. All done in a day nd a half on my lonesome. Knackered now..........thanks again
