I'm failing to see how anyone could not know about our membership fees, we've been writing to all our members and emailing and sent the little green brochures (twice) to every member explaining the fee and what you get for it since January:

Full Relay Services
6 Months Free e-commerce website
Laurence Lleweyln-Boweb Shop Branding
25% Sending & 70% Executing Commission
300 Profit Boost Vouchers
Full size design & sympathy guides
Free Seasonal Point of Sale (our Mothers Day POS got great feedback)
Personal Account Manager
Online Statements
BFA Membership
Fuel Card Savings (2-3p per litre)
Free HR advice
Lloyds TSB Card processing discount
Insurance Discounts
Yellow Pages advertising discounts

Its had a full page write up in professional florist (a very positive write up I might add) and was included when we sent everyone their Laurence Llewyln-Bowen guides.

This has definitely not been an under the radar charge, its been well publicised and communicated with our members.

I am more than happy to look at individual member accounts to see if I can help get some more orders to you, our allocation software works to a defined set of rules to ensure that orders are distributed to the correct florists, so its generally easy to see what needs to be done to get you more orders. I can assure that we're not sat here thinking of wonderful ways of not giving you orders

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Many thanks

Standard, Medium or Large

Hi Darren

Just a couple of questions for you.

As a consumer, part time florist and website designer/publisher, when I visit the iflorist website, in particular the Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen Flowers, I was at first a bit confused because it appears products are displayed with the Standard price but the Large display of the product is actually shown.

For example, My Fair Lady @ My Fair Lady - Utterly Gorgeous - LLB Flowers, the price displayed is 44.90 which seems to be for the Standard arrangement but the picture displayed is the Large arrangement, which attracts a further 20.00.

Would it not be a good idea to avoid confusion and potentially misleading consumers for:

1. the price to actually match the picture displayed?

2. the quantity of stems and/or blooms a consumer would receive for a given size?

as for 44.90 there is no indication what the Standard arrangement size would actually be.

Also, as My Fair Lady is a "Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen designer arrangement" of predominantly Oriental Lilies, Calla Lilies & Roses, do you not see it as inappropriate to have a substitution policy as a condition of the offer?

But I just went to your website and retrieved the info from it, I was actually able to add the product to the shopping basket.... so the product IS live.

the pages are not navigable from our home page nor any other page that is linked from our home page. they are currently under development (though they have been indexed by google, which having looked at the traffic reports seems to be how you have found these pages). As they are currently under development and not linked to any active pages on our website they are liable to change.

If you would like to become an iflorist member in order to receive orders for the exclusive LLB range of flowers please don't hesitate to contact us.

Many thanks

Well the fact is, I have reached the page on the internet (and archived it) so it is live.

Further the illustration I have used for your marketing is not unique to the Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen Flowers, as a similarity to the technique is used right across your website as far as I can see.

Why don't you just answer the questions I have put to you?

What is this, pick on iflorist day????!!!

in answer to your questions, these products are not being advertised and are currently in development (as previously stated). Yes you have been able to search for a very specific term using search engines in order to find a specific page, which is still under development. Rest assured that these pages will be brought in line with the rest of our products. The rest of the products which I consider to be live (eg. products you can buy from our home page or a linked page from there) are all defaulted to the product which relates directly to the photograph to avoid confusion.

examples:

Florists Choice - Same Day Flowers UK
Same Day Flowers - Friendship
Lady in Red | Flowers | Florist Delivered

In answer to your other question regarding stem counts etc, non of the online companies (interflora, eflorist, D2F, F2F etc) offer this either.... From our point of view its important that our florists have a certain amount of flexibility with which to put their own stamp on our designs whilst still using their freshest stock which wouldnt always be achievable if we forced to stick rigidly to a specific recipe.

Many thanks

iflorist

Wouldnt touch them with a barge pole! Google iflorist reviews.
We had a bad experience with them from late payment, not confirming orders,
not receiving brochures, no valetines orders because i assume they couried them all due to the price as florists wouldnt be able to fufill orders at their cut prices, not being asked if we wanted to stay with them and pay the 24 they just took it anyway, giving us a scotlands florist membership id on their new system and after telling darren foster that we no longer wished to be a member he didnt take us off the system so i had to ring up to have us removed and then a month later they tried to take membership money from our account anyway which bounced as i have cancelled the direct debit debit my end. I wonder how much they will try and take next month?
Also if you work out the percentage they take plus the membership fee to order ratio received i bet you will be losing more than 30%.

Well I just went through to the entering credit card details at the checkout, I am not going to the extreme and put mine in to test it out. However you should be aware that accepting money for something you cannot supply is illegal in the UK as it is here in Australia.

AND just because other companies do the same doesn't make it right nor is it an excuse for not putting the hard yards in to describe your product accurately.

BTW, clearly you do not know what a long stem rose is!!

I am going to bed now... goodnight
