I have a client who has a cycad that has tiny yellow spots all on its leaves and her palms have a few yellow spots on the older leaves and going a little yellow......Does anyone know what this yellowing is and what i need to do to treat it.

The Cycad is a Sago palm isn't it? If the leaves are yellowing it's because the roots have been allowed to dry out. Never allow it to dry out during the summer months. They only put out one leaf a year, so every single one counts!!!

If it's brown spots, that's a lead spot disease due to overwatering or sudden chilling, and it can also be caused by hard water!

love the look of these(the PLANT I mean!) but they are a bit of a bitch to keep, either they do wonderfully and then all of a sudden POOF and they're sick. ugh. ditto to what Jake said tho, don't like too much or too little water...as I said, a bitch!
just another thought...have you checked the underside of the leaves to see if any little critters are sucking out the chlorophyll causing the spots? just a thought....
