Talking grass snakes
how excited am I...lifted the lid on the compost this morning to find 2 grass snakes ... thrilled to bits... normally have a lot of slow worms in there but never had grass snakes. Read up on Google about them, and now is egg laying time....I'm probably going to be a grandmother again

Ooooooo I have a nest of 11 eggs but nothing sitting on them do you think they could be snakes? The eggs are white and about the size of a bantam egg but try as I might I cannot find anything that is sitting on them.
