My Dad always liked to use it rather than pesticides. He said it was a kinder way for them to go ~ happily drunk! As for the fox deterrent they will be scared off definitely if you get a dog in the garden. Our next door neighbour was "hounded" by a fox that rampaged though her garden tipping the bin over and tearing open the plastic bags. It never once bothered us, just next door but we had a dog!!I think a lot of your problems will be because the garden belonged to a very old lady so it wasn't "well used". My advice it to get out in it as much as possible this summer, have barbies, invite the neighbours and friends around. If you haven't got kids get your friends to bring theirs round. Wild life won't want to stay long in a "busy" garden if there are quieter gardens near by that that can live in undisturbed. Good luck in your new home. ![]()
