Hi there, If you live on a road which is not a cul-de-sac or dead end, why don't you try putting up a small sign at the end of the garden near the road advertising what you do, people will then come up to your garage & you can take it from there.
I started out like that, when I was out I used to bring the sign in & nobody came up, if I wanted a day off I did not put the sign out, it worked a treat & customers started arriving within a couple of hours, like magic! The council might object if you start running a full retail biz from your garage but it is a great way to learn at your own pace, pick up some business & give yourself confidence for the next step. good luck pete |
