how to get work/contracts
hi all
I have just recently moved and have just finished my level 2 training. My partner has just suggested that i write a short letter to funeral directors/hotels etc asking if they could pass my details on to clients? I would put 10 business cards in with each and just ask if they could support me with arrangements for funerals or receptions etc A good idea????
your experianced thoughts appreciated ...is this the way to get into this line of floristry??

I am looking to get some shop experance to hopefully open my own in the future. My partner converted my garage so i could do work from home and he is very ambitious!! just keeps throwing suggestions at me to help get me started!!

Do you have a garage? do you have a table? do you have a plug to plug in your gluegun? do you have a portable heater? and do you have a smaller table to put you martini on when you're working?
