Tink...you've got to think in terms of 'if I was a lorry driver trying to earn a living, would i go there?'
So think about how much you intend buying and remember that wholesalers don't make 50% profit on everything. If it's going to be an hour of their time and the costs of bringing a 40' lorry to your front door they will want to be making it worth their while i think. Of course there may be one going past your front door anyway in which case they may be more receptive....just something to think about.

Have you tried Heemskerk - their deliveries are by lorry. You can order online but also choose from the lorry. Their telephone number is on their website. Also Metz - I will pm you with details of their area rep.

Alternatively why not have a chat with your local florist, she may be willing to sell you flowers (if you order enough from her) at less than retail prices.
You could try your areas wholesale fruit and flower market, but they may ask for proof of business, letterhead, reciepts etc; as they sell wholesale.
