I am at present in the middle of a funeral, it is very hot today as you all know!, I have the tributes outside shaded by a bed sheet over the washing line and spray lightly every few hours with hosepipe do you think it will be ok. I have retired from floristry but just do the odd bit now and again hence no cold room.
Thanks Sam |

I aint got a garage or a dark room or a fan (sounds though I am a paurper) What I have been doing is misting with hosepipe attatchment every hour on the hour
! It would be far simpler if people snuffed it in the Winter!!!Hope I aint offended anyone. Thanks Sam x |

I'm with FBA- a bit late now but if it happens again perhaps lose the hosepipe spray and just take a plant sprayer to it very lightly every 3 or 4 hours, not too much at all. Failing that I would rig up some kind of temporary shade, even if its only cardboard to keep the sun off (not plastic though) and as suggested check very carefully for night creepers before you send out.
I used to live in a first floor flat when I was in college and used to put everything in the dark hallway - I'm sure my neighbours thought I was mad before they realised what I was doing! But you have to do what you have to do.

Welcome!
If you are misting them, and the sun is coming through the sheet, you are risking scorching your designs...Hope they are ok. Look forward to chatting. Did you used to have a shop? Or work for someone? Or what? What's ya story?!
