Hi everyone, I'm after some advice regarding a competition I'm entering. I've only entered small/village shows in the past but the one I'm entering soon is on a larger scale. I've armed myself with the NAFAS Competitions Manual which has helped but I'm still unsure about things which are and aren't permitted. What I need to know is am I allowed to include a three-tiered plant pedestal into an exhibit, which will have a separate arrangement on each tier or is that sort of thing a no no? I'd be grateful for any advice you may be able to give, thanks, SEKAPHAN.

All depends on the title ! and is if FLORISTRY or flower arranging ?
In flower arranging i know that you are not allowed to have things trailing off the edge of the space allowed and always keep within in your designated space allowed or you will be out of schedule
whats the title ???

Hi Flower, it's a flower arranging/floral art competition, the title is 'Pandora's Box'.

dose it say anything about staging ? i have see lost of floral art comps and they use losts of different props chairs, urns , lost of wood, and stands so i carnt see why not !
but your schedule will give you the dimentions and props allowed, if it says nothing about it the i think you will be ok.........

As long as you keep within the allocated space, i'm sure it won't be a problem, read their info very carefully, if in doubt phone the secretary ,they are used to dealing with these sort of questions
