Good question Nepenthes, I like to laugh so comedy programs are my favourite, usually english comedy, but I love things like the blue planet, planet earth etc and top-gear is great. I tend to use tv for escapism so don't really watch too much serious stuff. Do you get lots of english tv over there?

I like comedy also emmerdale farm other than that I really just like the noise in the background mind you Postman Pat seems to be flavour at the moment my grandson of 2 now can load and turn on the dvd so material we watch when he is here is his choice

Im same as Rach, my tv consists mainly of animated films such as toy story and monsters inc. My toddler loves cbeebies.. teletubbies, bob the builder, tweenies etc.
If I get an hour or two of an evening I like top gear, lost, deal or no deal, project catwalk and life on mars! I can't watch anything too deep or too long, I get bored. If I can't sleep at night i'll watch sky news!

Yes,were getting a lot of comedy:mr Bean,Fawlty towers and others and crimi series.There has been many over the years.Midsummer murder is my favorite.I enjoy blue planet,planet earth a lot.I prefer tv that I dont have to think about.I just want to be entertained Distant shores is on at the moment here,today actually.I like that

Frost is an peevish( would have used another word,but couldnt find it in my dictionary ) old man,but sweet. Good films,Inspector Morse on the other hand is too borring in my opinion.Too much opera
