Really excited someone has been mad enough to offer to have my 2 girls and new baby over night so me and the husband want to go away for the night some where within a couple of hours drive from congleton cheshire a nice hotel or B&B not too posh good prices and nice views maybe ireland way or peaks, lakes or stratford way any ideas we haven't had a night away from the kiddies in a LONG time!!!!

Lakes would be my choice go every year for May Day for the last 10 years laid back and lovely walks always stayed at one of the hotels overlooking the lake in Bowness or Little Bowness but if you are going this weekend you won't have hope getting in they are always fully booked months in advance. Think we are heading Scotland or Wales have booked boat and will decide when we get to other side and take pot luck on accomodation when we get there might end up looking for the moderators van again

not this weekend were going to go caravan in wales but hubbies got footie game and a family party will be in next few weeks hopefully where is fly off to then or are you going to head south on a easter fly hunt

He is staying home because I might call in on him but then again might not

I would thoroughly recommend the suffolk coast although a bit too far for you for a night?

Thought I spotted Fly2hi, as he's down here in sunny Sussex, went to medievel jousting at Arundel Castle yeserday, there were a few roudy knights and some strange looking jesters, they wore very attractive baggy trousers with cod pieces in a nice shade of green, he said hello and gave me a very big grin, hey ho this must be Fly2hi in his other job !!!!
