bought the children a trampoline a while ago.They have loads of fun on it ,nowadays children dont really play out like we did, They dont seem that interesred in going out.Our childhoods, and im sure you will agree was full of outdoor games.Anyway i thought i would share a few of my childhood favourite games with you and wondered if you have different ones.If you can cast your minds back that far

jacks.....pieces of metal that you had to pick up whilst throwing a bouncy ball in the air



and two balls being thrown at a wall while you sing matthew mark luke and john next door neighbour carry on and your freind would then catch the balls and continue.

they were the days!

I just remember riding my bike EVERYWHERE. There'd be up to 6 of us just riding around, not doing much else. This continued right up to the end of high school, if I kept it up I wouldn't be so fat!

Span.....
throwing coins at wall and getting within the span of your hand.. (oooh gambling) most of my coins in those days were dented

Kerb ball
bouncing the ball off the kerb against your opponent...

diff version of hide and seek really,,,

And then there was the best game ever invented...... I was crap at it.. the girls could easily catch me.

Onsies.
You had to throw a ball at the wall, clap once between throwing and catching. Then you had to clap twice, then 3 times and so on.

Cops and Robbers.
Basically chase, when caught you had to go into the jail and only another robber could tag you back out if they got past the guard.

Kerbie.
Same as fab man, bouncing the ball of the kerb.

At school we played..

Hip hip hooray.

Two chains of people, you had to skip over to the other chain and chose someone to run back over and try to break through the chain. If they didnt make it through they joined your chain, if they did they went back to their own.

There were loads of other games too, but would take aaages to write them all up as I think we made half of them up ourselves
