Well my first boss was rubbish! All I learnt from him was how NOT to do it
Honestly, I had to pretty much sus it out myself to begin with. I reckon thats why Im rubbish at teaching people/staff/mum how to do it, because I was never taught myself, just had to pick it up.

I have to admit i was taught by the best, she was fab and really strict on wot went out of her shop, if it wasnt good enough you had to undo and start again, my bugbear was front facing arrangements
still hate the buggers.I like doing pedestal arrangements but you can stick the piddly facers ![]() |

Me too Funks, she was a tyrant, but boy oh boy did I learn quick......and whoever had done well during the week was allowed a free reign to do the weekend window....an honour indeed!
And Mands, I hate doing h/t's, can't do h/t's, and think my h/t's always look crappy, but then I don't like h/t's........maybe that's why, (my excuse anyway). ![]()

![]() Just got me thinking, When its a big day in the shop e.g m/d v/di go into panic mode as do a lot of florists, start panicking etc and times running out, i run around like a headless chicken hooting and shooting, my hubby just stands there and says " gladys calm down" That was by old bosses name and i am so like her sometimes i cringe ![]() ![]() |
