I think its gets harder as they get older, mine are 26 and 23 and at times their antics freak me out big time. I find myself saying the same things to them my mum used to say to me, things I always said I'd never say to my kids, as for the next generation am loving being a grandma.

It never gets any easier does it ~ I worry about all mine all the time and the 2 that live here that aren't mine I worry about too ~ they think it's very strange.
My Dad says to me when I stop shouting and moaning at you it's cos I've stopped caring he does shout and moan a lot

Thank you everyone and no you never stop worrying ours are 28 30 and daughter 31 now I know why daddy always called me the child (Iam in the middle) my brothers he called the wee boys few days before he died I was sitting with him he said 'Wee pigeon (his nickname for me) where are the two wee boys' me they will be here soon (started worrying as I thought he meant my boys who were young I din't know whether I wanted to let them see daddy so low) when I realised it was my brothers he was talking about sad but I laugh about it now. By the way the little git sent me a text this morning
'WE ARE STILL ALIVE !!!!!!!' if I had been beside him I would have choked him
