same here, as well as other plants the minions have tried to murder for me.

I go for weeks with no flowers then other weeks with lots of flowers - varies on what I've got left in the shop or if I spot a bargain at the wholesalers which accidently ends up in my house

I was doing a few corsages at home last week and had cream lizzy, hypericum, bearsgrass and some ivy left over so i very professionaly plonked them in an empty coffee jar beside my sink and forgot to take them to work the next day, every time i cleaned there i picked the coffee jar up and thought oh must do something with them but no I killed them with the kettle steam, omg how uncreative of me lol....bad apple

My sons houses always look flower filled. always turn up last thing on a saturday and tell me its to late to sell them so they will kindly take them off my hands. huh

That's very kind and considerate of them......................

I hardly ever think to take flowers home and on the odd occasion that I have, I've nearly always ended up pinching them back for the shop!!!

The last time I brought flowers home was when my Fella brought a vase from home into the shop and asked for it to be filled!!!

have a few bamboo in a vase and a few orchid plants but mostly i buy for the garden occassionally the boss will let me have some flowers to take home and sometimes i buy myself some and once a year (anniversary) other half will send flowers

guess I'm the only one then here...every Saturday I make a little something for my kitchen table...at the moment I have 10 teddy sunflowers with typha grass looped around them in a vase. I try to take something home every week to 'test' it, seriously! my kitchen is quite warm and this way I can tell the cust HONESTLY if the stuff holds up!! And I HATE having a 'flowerless' kitchen table! (my moms fault! she ALWAYS had something flowery on table)

oh, and my orchids in the bathroom are now flowerless....poop. hate the waiting game!

My boys buy me a bouquet for Mothers Day usually, but at least our lovely lady who works in the shop hides the order from me. As were open Sundays as well I very rarely get to take anything home unless its lilys that a stray stamen had stained!
