Pasta Gerberas?

Anyone tried the 'pasta' varieties of gerbera. Just surfing www.schreurs.nl
and they look really fun/mad. Do they last as well as normal varieties please?

Just had a look, they're great aren't they. like the vermicelli too. No idea if they'd last, don't see why not though.

Never tried em, we tend to stock only germinis, but saw them on the Metz stand at SFE and they looked good and strong. I like the spider ones too, but Metz stopped stocking them, pity, there was a really useful raspberry pink one.

Yeah I bought them once, they look better in the pictures to be honest - I wasn't overly impressed with them.

Yes!! I did an all germini wedding at the weekend it was LOVELY! was dead chuffed with it. Copy of page 39 in the green Cowling wedding book but with gerbs instead of callas. It were burgundy gerbs with tamango spray roses, astrantia, sedum, poppy seed heads, firework grass and rosemary, it were right lovely!

But I do agree with your bride too, I always feel a bit funny about using them in bridal bouquets. Use them a lot in reception flowers though, cos they are cheap and cheerful.

Don't know what it is about them that makes them fun looking. Think they are fab grouped in hot pinks and oranges. Not used them for a wedding yet, my brides are all too conservative!
