On those tulips, they're in my home fridge, I took out the ones that weren't as open last night, they got a bit of colour, and I put them back in and they seem to be doing fine, phew!

Angelisa,
I haven't been in here for a while, but I worked full time in a shop before I would EVER describe myself as a florist.
'doing a bit of a course', and then attempting to do weddings is like commiting 'floristry suicide'!!!!!!!

Is this the what is happening to the art of floristry????

I agree flowerfairy. there's a lot of wannabes out there and they do often let the side of the industry down.... so often, a local florist is left/asked to pick up the pieces at the last minute because of school boy errors. But hey ho... I guess there will always be hangers-on!

Also, re the thread, home 'food' fridges are far TOO COLD for fresh flowers. Just a tip. J
