Tulips in fridge..
Hi,
I have some tulips that I need to stay closed for 2 days, the wholesaler suggested keeping ithem dry in my fridge. I have given them a good drink, turned up my fridge temp a little and popped them in there. a) Is this a good idea? b) Will this cause them to open faster once they are out of the fridge? c) Do I need to do anything special once I take them out of the fridge - or straight into a bucket of water? Thanks! |

Hi everyone!
![]() My name's Mel, I'm actually from Sydney Australia! We don't seem to have forums as good as yours, and I figure flowers are flowers whereever you are.. I'm starting to do a few weddings after working on my own and a few friends' and now feeling the pressure of getting it just perfect. I'm doing a bit of a course at the moment, but mostly learning from experience and really enjoying it.
