Flower preservation resin
Hi everyone,
I've seen flowers preserved in paper weights and stuff and I've always fancied having a go. Has anyone ever tried this, and do you have any recommended products? Cheers Claire

I bought some resin from country baskets to put into a vase with silk flowers in it. But I think what you are looking for is the sort of stuff you get in hobby shops. They sell the kits so you can do your own paper weights.

the resin thing from country baskets is if i recall correctly two bottles that you mix to make the resin and then let it set...
we used to use this stuff a lot.. but a word of caution.. it is messy and sticky you should keep it out of sunlight.. |

the reason you have to keep it out of the sun my daughter forgot to say is because it can cause the vase to crack, like she said we used it loads till the complaints started coming fast and furious, so be warned
