im curious why the chicken wire,, just put the box they come in (the inside part with the holes) over the top of the riser. or doesnt it fit ? havent tried it,,

Yes FBA, the box insert does sort of fit ok. It was just something i'd made up that seemed to work for other things as well. Like when you need to open really tall longii lilies and don't want them all leaning over together. More than one way to skin a cat though.
