I am sure i have read about these somewhere ,not sure if it was on this site so sorry if I am reapeating somthing.I have just bought a pack of these pills after seeing the ad in fwb,dropped one into a litre of water as instructions & waited,& waited & waited,nothing happened.It says in the ad effervescent rapidly dissolving,not mine,it just sat there on the bottom of the vase.just wondered if any of you guys use them & if so how do you get on with them do they fizzzzzz,have i got a bad box?

You could try luke warm water to speed things up. They don't always dissolve in a hurry, but they should get there eventually

i use them on my gerbs and sunflowers.

i dont bother waiting till its disolved either, just snip the stems and put in.

the gerbs stand up straight by the next day.

I did get into the habit of throwing in a plastic frog or something to remind me that i'd fed the water.

Do you hang your gerbs over dutch bucket first or straight into vase? Anyone have trouble with cerise gerbs going blue on edges?

we wire ours but hanging them works if you haven't time to wire...ours sometimes go blue on edges..cold maybe not sure?

I had a dutch riser bucket with chicken wire strapped across the top. You could just drop the gerbs in and as long as they didn't touch the bottom would always come out straight.

no breezy, i take them out the cardboard and straight into a vase.

they work like magic.
