fake plants..
I hear you all groan. I'm slightly ashamed to post this but here goes. I have two window boxes on my upstairs windows at home so not all that easy to water or maintain. I'd like some, wait for it... fake box hedges or something. I know I should have real but I am lazy and have killed everything i've put in so far. i just want them to look tidy (look at me justifying my atrocious choice!) Anyone know where i could get something half decent?

seriously one of our local wholesalers here have plastic box and they do look good we got the spirral for hiring out at weddings cost £39 each we hire them out £80 the pair which includes delivery and collection they have been to 8 weddings so far and have well paid for themselves

My thinking was that they are up high so the neighbours wont be twitching their curtains saying 'oooh look at 'er with 'er fake plants'! I think i'll trawl the web for them.

Never had a neat little bush
 but have done quite a few window boxes with tradescantia and mixed ivies with large ferns for a bit of height. They can look fairly real if you are further than 6ft away. In summer used to add pelargoniums for colour. Put them in oasis covered in chicken wire then put pva over the oasis. Your dirty little secret is safe with me
