Automatic Stem Stripper?!
Hello
I have seen a desk-mounted machine before, that strips the thorns / leaves from stems simply by inserting the flower into the hole on the machine. As we go through very many flowers a week, the manual conditioning is taking a long time, and not very cost-effective. However, I just cannot find any reference to the machine in question, as to where to buy one / find one. Can anyone tell me if they know where I can get one? Many thanks Martin |

I've seen the machine cutters (which I want desparately for woody stems) but I have never seen a desk mounted stripper. I will ask my friend from the local nursery he has lots of contacts and might know where you can get one Martin. I will see him tomorrow so I will let you know what he say.

My name is Martin Hellier. I own www.nextdayflowers.co.uk an online florist operation based in Yeovil in Somerset. I started the business approxiamtely six weeks ago and fulfil around 30 to 40 orders a day which are sent via courier next day guaranteed service. All is made in house with qualified florists and I do the wholesale trips 3 times aweek as well as all the marketing / website design / product design admin etc etc. Hope that helps! |
