Perfect Cold Room Temp
Hello
I have a custom built cold room for storing my flowers (or most of them - (i.e. not sunflowers / gerberas) , but anyway, I have heard much debate over the perfect temperature to store the flowers. I currently keep mine at around 8.5 - 9C and wondered if anyone would agree / disagree with this? Regards H |

Don't quote me on this a dutch guy once told me flowers like a constant temp of 15-16 once in the shop, because flowers don't like all the changes in temp ie refridgeated lorry, into the shop, then into really warm house. I do try to keep my shop at that temp and they do seem to last quite a long time, I always have customers telling me my flowers last for ages and ages

OK, I set mine at 7. I allow a 3 degree variation over 7 degrees, otherwise the cooler is on almost full-time! - Now it tens to be off for 15 mins and on for 10 mins etc
