Saw orchids at a show half had been conditioned by cutting stems and placing in a vase the other half completely submerged and yes you could really see a difference those submerged were plump and strong

I have just had my delivery from flowers4florists this morning and I have to admit I am very pleased, especially with the way and the care with which they've been packaged. The roses even have the bottom four inches or so stripped already which is something I've not seen before!

what else did you buy and what was the quality like. Considered ordering from flower4florist last week but decided not to as can get cheaper locally.

Blue Curiosa roses, Avalanche, lisianthus, anthurium, greenery, lilies, spray cars (funeral!)
Quality was v good to be honest, beargrass a bit brown at the ends but that's quite common isn't it

Hi!
Very interested to read what you say about Barbie/Heaven roses because I was just going to ask why the ones I recently got from the wholesaler all developed "pitted" petals after a relatively short time? Are they prone to that as well as bruising or do they maybe not like the chiller very much?

Also, a customer wants a rose as near as possible to the garden Peace rose. Could anyone recommend anything please?

As a "newy" - to flower shop owning and to this site - I'm finding it (the site) a great comfort at low points (a lot of those at the moment)!! Oh well, onwards and upwards...

Hopefully it will take off and be an aid to florists all over the UK.

I myself am based in Holland. I have lived here for the last 19 years working on the Dutch auctions shipping flowers all around the world.

If anybody has questions on availability, or require pictures or info on a specific product, let me know through this forum, and I will see what I can do.
