Pointsettias

Mr Tichmarsh had this printed in the Express magazine on Sat it may help.
My shop is freezing too, so far they have survived.

Place in a rleatively warm room away from heat and in good but direct light and they will last for weeks ( Ithink this advice is more for customers) When it comes to watering give them a soak when the surface of the compost feels dray, and do not water again till it is dry. He says the same for Cyclamen that he puts into wicker baskets (another sale) take them out of basket once a week and stand them in the sink in about 3 inch water for about an hour, then put thme back in basketys near a window. Also Cyclamen love light but not heat so keep cool.

Not sure if this is any help

I used to just group them altogether at night and lay flower wrap over the top of them. Won't hurt them and keeps a bit of the cold off

My shop is also freezing but I think because I keep them away from draughts and such I have so far been lucky - are they anywhere they might get a draught from the door?

We bought a couple of those halogen heaters for the shop. They have timers so can keep the pointsettias happy through the night. Any excess stock of the poinstettias are in my house keeping warm!! The things we do for our precious stock!!

awwwwwwwww. you are so cute Chris. Lucky plants.
My few plants just have to freeze so that my cut flowers can have it like a chiller to keep them nice and fresh.
abifloralartist, the who shop is a draft lol it's the farm building for the local hall. But I will try your hint out Fly and see if flowerwrap helps.
Patway, thanks for the tips, now I know why the Cyclamen are the only plants that do well in the shop - they like the cold.

Thanks guys for all your welcome input.
