yep he admitted he wasn't a florist basically he is a sales boy, sales and marketing.. that is all he knows about, apart from telling me how to run my business.
He also let slip that they don't really do tests anymore

I think they are more concerned with other competitors like M&S, he said they had a load of non florist type companies deliver bqs at VD and they collected them together at HQ to inspect. He said they were all disgraceful, half dead or half bashed (in the courier boxes)
I think they probably would keep testing for any shops they had complaints about etc. But I have also heard from people that the tests ones always got sent to a business address very local to the shop it was sent from.

Yes even though I didn't get my guy his yella dandelions we do go out of our way for customers but this lady had a market stall selling candles etc and when My employer decided to sell whe was our part time delivery person and jumped at the chance when I decided not to buy the shop was a busy one and my employer had built up a great reputation and hopefully had I taken it on may have held it as I had worked with her for 15 years however my new employer now enjoys most of that custom as customers have followed me I hate to see a business go down but with her attitude I would like to see her go as she is getting the rest of us a bad reputation
