Agree with you there Rach, it's something that winds me up too. Especially when you've worked out what you are going to do, then find you can't!

Just had another look at the mini lovely work you definately put a lot of thought into it love the alloy wheels and good pictures of each stage bet whoever ordered was pleased with the eand result unfortunately most are now just going for the spray or wreath and so we don't get the chance to do nice pieces like the mini we have found even letters are not as popular now

For me i think it must be Alstromeria;
It's available all year round
Nobody ever says "No Alstro" as they often do with chrysanths, carnations.
It has a good range of colours
stem length is good for everything
It keeps well
Price is nearly always reasonable

ok, most of this works for cars and chtrysanths as well, i just happen to prefer Alstro as a flower for some reason, probably because we get through a lot of it. My personal favourite...."Tiesto"
September:
It looks like a chrysanthenum santini to me. The september green (danish name)I know has tiny white flowers on a very long stem

Nepenthus,
the septemberflower is long stemmed, daisy like flower, normally arriving blue/purple; white with green centre, lilac, sometimes yellow.

As oppsed to santini chrysanths which are shorter stems but also can have similar daisy like flowers and coming in quite a few colors.
The difference would be in the petals. September is a more delicate looking petal whereas santini is like a minature reagan chrysanth.
But you probably know that already!

Alstro.

I must say,we are not that "into" alstromeria here in Dk.We have a lot of it and many of our customers loves it but, in special and contemporary designs, you don't see it a lot. I think most danish florist think its borring.BUT.Whith a lot of new colours you'll never know.Maybe we will rediscover the possibillites.Arggh, spelling is tuff.

Must agree with Nephentes on that thing with "alstro". not a favorite.
But My teacher (that´s the wrong word). My boss that tougth me. you now.
He loved them.
We made a lot of funerals. so I´m scared for life with alstro and Iris.
Ecept for that iris pumila or something. The big one. thats nice. or tons of iris together thats cool.
