Whats everyones experiences please?
I have used a cold store at my last job, it was fab. Im starting my own shop now but i cant afford one! Roses and lilys lasted forever! Ive seen a florist use a drinks cooler before, is that advisable or mental!?!?!? Amandalou ![]() |

Ive got an opportunity to get a cheap drinks cooler......ive got till Saturday to decide, is it a yes or a no? What cold setting have you got yours on? Thanks every1 really appreciate it!

If you can afford a proper flower cooler then that is the best thing to use especially If your shop is on the sunny side of the street. I would only get the drinks cooler if its really cheap or free. You wont be able to fit all your flowers in a drinks cooler and I cant remember what the correct temperature is 5 - 8 degrees I think. The amount of money you save on having a flower cooler will depend on how hot your shop gets, good stock rotation and how fast you can get them out the door.

I would love a cold store, I nearly got one second hand, in fact I thought that I had bought one, it was all done and dusted except for the exchange of money. Then I got a message to say that the selling florists had taken a better offer! I'd been gazumped
I've not seen a decent second hand one since ![]()

i do really need a cold store as my shop is on the sunny side of street.
but the cost, ooooouuuuuucccchhhhh. will have to think of someway of raising the money before the weather warms though ![]()
