I have tried all the flowerfoods going. I have had it plumbed into my water system. truth is nothing beats clean vases and good buying. i have a big food bottle waiting to be plumbed in, I haven't bothered, I just make sure the vases are changed and cleaned frequently,and keep my buying realistic, hope this helps save you money.
