We don't give a guarantee with our flowers but would be willing to change stuff that should last a reasonable time. I would question why they didn't call or bring the flowers back straight away if they reckon they 'died' the next day. To be honest even if you put your care instructions on an A4 care card in large letters, braile, and every possible language they still wouldn't read em

perhaps i exagerated with the expletive, to be honest i have only had a couple of complaints and it really does depend on the customers attitude with me. If you come the high and mighty i refer them to trading standards (which goes down a treat) and if they are humble they get an array of beautiful blooms

It's all common sense really, some people are just not reasonable, if their roses for instance only last 2 days, sure, I will replace BUT, if they are complaining after the 7th - then they can go jump.....
It was Mothers day here nearly 3 weeks ago and I had a customer who requested a fruit basket instead of flowers for his Mother.... Well Monday just gone I get an irate phone call from this woman complaining ( keep in mind she recieved this basket 2weeks and 1 day prior) that the orange she went to eat the previous night was bad and what was I going to do about it?? - I was on the phone with this woman for about 10 min, she just went on and on about how discusting it was and how i should be ashamed that I sent out dodgy fruit etc etc etc.. I said to her that she recieved it over two weeks ago and she couldn't expect the Orange to be still fresh But in her opinion that is not good enough... and now she wasn't game to eat the other fruit?? -( so she basically still had other fruit left as well) and she was going to take it further??!! - Havn't heard back from her yet?? - NUTCASE....! ![]() Could of been something to do with the full moon on Monday I Guess..... ![]()

I love it when they say "I'm going to take this further" - You can tell them take their complaint to Consumer Affairs (or whatever) by all means, absolutely encourage them, they soon back down. No reasonable person is going to expect fruit to be fresh a week later.

I am sure consumer affairs will have a great laugh......... She did say that she was going to bring the orange into me, but she hasn't turned up yet... maybe she has realised how pathetic the complaint is..... Perhaps she has started to take her medication again... ![]()
