Only ever sold them in pots Apple. When they were in abundance you could pick up large pots for a couple of quid and they lasted ages (in the pots). Didn't see any reason to do them as a cut flower when there was so much else about at that time of year. Very popular though.

have never BOUGHT them, have picked them from the side of the road tho, nice for a garden party, at twelve midnight tho the fairy god mother turns them back into a pumpkin!.
