Bleach smell in vases?

Ive noticed that when i change the water in vases in my shop that the old water smell like bleach !! I have a dosing unit, which is set correctly. I have changed from Chrysal to Floralife though, and adjusted doser accordingly. Does anyone have this or is something wrong?
